Dear Grandad,
we are lighting this candle to wish you a happy birthday. You remain in our thoughts and are deeply missed by us all.
If only you were around to hear how much has changed since last year. I'm sure you'd be as proud as ever about the progress we've made and the paths we are taking through life.
